The Auburn football pay-for-play scandal may turn college football on its ear and lead to heavy NCAA punishment.
But this latest Auburn football scandal will also provide plenty of fodder for satire and humor. Just ask Orlando Sentinel political cartoonist Dana Summers, who is leading the satirical charge with his latest cartoon.
The cartoon takes the reader inside the Auburn football locker room, where the coach points out a play on the blackboard that features Os and dollar signs.
I'm sure Auburn football fans won't find much humor in this cartoon, and Auburn football coach Gene Chizik might print out a high-resolution copy and use it as a dart board.
But Lord knows this is probably the first in a long line of satirical spoofs that will follow in the wake of the HBO Real Sports report that aired on Wednesday night.
