Discovery Cove has introduced a lengthy Florida-resident deal that includes passes to SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica water park through the end of January 2013.
Florida folk can spend one full day at Discovery Cove and have the swim-with-dolphins experience for $199 through the end of 2012. Opt out of the dolphin attraction and pay only $129. Included in the Discovery Cove admission are the Grand Reef, Serenity Bay, Wind-Away River, Explorer's Aviary and the newly opened Freshwater Oasis, which features encounters with marmosets and Asian otters. Proof of Florida residency for each adult will be required at check-in.
Also wrapped into the admission are breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverages throughout the day plus items such as swimgear, sunscreen and lockers. Discovery Cove's admission price varies with the season and posted prices have gone as high as $379.
The passes to SeaWorld and Aquatica kick in after the date of the Discovery Cove visit. They will be valid for the theme park's Halloween and Christmas celebrations plus the slower, post-New Year's weeks, which include the Just for Kids event with live entertainment geared to the younger set.
