When three national presidential campaigns simultaneously land in central Florida for a 10-day blitz for votes, it is a wild ride for press photographers. 2012 Republican presidential contenders
From Mitt Romney's kick-off event in
to Newt Gingrich's wrap in
last night, I criss-crossed central Florida with the national press corp on a frenzied schedule of campaign rallies, cheering supporters, ramped-up security (and more security) and the occasional protesters. I even witnessed Rick Santorum getting "glitter-bombed" in Lake county.
By the numbers, here's what I was up to: 3 campaigns, 15 events, 10 days, 8 cities, many miles of driving, and 20 photo galleries & blog posts on OrlandoSentinel.com's Central Florida Political Pulse.
