Magic's Glen Davis might return to the court soon

LOS ANGELES — Glen Davis continues to make progress rehabbing the left shoulder he dislocated Dec. 19 and might be back on the court with the Orlando Magic in the near future.

“[He’s] progressing, getting shots up,” coach Jacque Vaughn said before the Magic upset the Los Angeles Clippers 104-101 Saturday afternoon. “Nothing negative, and conditioning-wise, he’s improving.”

The Magic have no guarantees that Davis won’t reinjure the shoulder, but doctors have been optimistic in their long-term prognoses.

The Magic lost their first 10 games without Davis.
