Nelson appeared to move fluidly as he took jumpers after this morning's workout ended. He strained his groin and hamstring on Nov. 2, during the team's season-opener, and has missed the Magic's last six games.
"I'm starting to get there," Nelson said. "I've just got to keep progressing and get my conditioning better and just keep on healing right."
Nelson's return would gave the Magic a needed boost offensively. The team has failed to reach 90 points in each of its last four games.
