Medical Tourism Association and Global Healthcare Resources’ annual conference, HEALTHCARE ЯEVOLUTION, is coming to Orlando from October 28 to 30 at the Orange County Convention Center.
The theme this year is innovation and disruption.
More than 100 countries are expected to have representation at the meeting, according to organizers.
A Chinese delegation is attending the meeting in hopes of meeting “leaders from the Florida State government, government officials from the Orlando government, the Chinese Embassy in Orlando, the renowned medical organizations in the States, medical health and wellness tourism agencies, financial insurance and other relevant corporate executives from local well-known enterprises for networking and industrial resources cooperation,” according to the Medical Tourism Association.
The conference covers a range of topics, including precision medicine and biologics, marijuana legalization, health-care innovation and financing and medical tourism.
“This is a big opportunity for health-care providers to look to not only bringing more patients to the region internationally but also domestically,” said Renee-Marie Stephano, president and co-founder of Medical Tourism Association and CEO of Global Healthcare Resources, which owns HEALTHCARE ЯEVOLUTION.
