Orlando Fringe review: 'Aargh Zombies! Because They $ell!'

Flesh-eaters have invaded the smallest venue of the Orlando Fringe, the wee Jamie Mykins Theater, home of “Aaaaaggghhh Zombies!!! … Because Zombies Sell.”

Ten people crammed elbow-to-elbow into the closet-sized space on opening night for the one-man puppet show with a human sidekick. A zombie attack in such tight quarters can be pretty harrowing, but audience members are armed with foam weapons. And kazoos.

There’s an appearance by Captain Discovery, groan-worthy zombie jokes and, believe it or not, a splash zone. But it’s mercifully short – under 10 minutes – for claustrophobic Fringe-goers.

Tickets aren’t sold for the show, which is first-come-first-serve and accepts donations.

Approximately 10 minutes, Jamie Mykins Theatre (a closet near the Yellow Venue), donations accepted, Orlando Fringe Festival official page.
