This week at theme parks: Phillip Phillips, Guess Who, Ashley Eckstein, Angry Birds

Music still dominates the special-event scene at Orlando's theme parks and attractions this week, but there's also some "Star Wars" and Angry Birds on the horizon.

+ Reigning "American Idol" winner Phillip Phillips performs at Universal's Mardi Gras on Saturday. Friday's Mardi Gras concert features teen singer Austin Mahone. More information:

+ The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival has The Guess Who in its Flower Power concert series Friday-Sunday. Its HGTV guest of the weekend is Egypt Sherrod, host of "Property Virgins."  (Of course, the flowers and other displays are out all week). More info:

+ Country singer Jamey Johnson performs at Silver Springs on Saturday. Details:

+ Central Florida's own Ashley Eckstein, who voices a character in the animated TV series "Star Wars: Clone Wars," will appear at the Orlando Science Center on Saturday. Her appearance is tied to the center's current exhibit "Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination." More info:

+ Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex introduces its Angry Birds Space Encounter on Friday.  The grand opening, set for 11 a.m., will include astronaut Donald Pettit. More info:
