Ways to cool down: Sand Key Park

Approximate travel time: 1 hour, 54 minutes Parking/admission costs: Automated pay stations are installed, with daily parking fees of $5. Annual parking passes are $75; $55 for those over 65 and are available at Parks and Conservation Resources. A fee is not collected from persons entering the park on foot or by bicycle. Facilities: Concession, boardwalk, nature trail, beach wheelchairs, outdoor showers, bath houses with separate changing stalls and restrooms, parking (fee charged), dog park, playground equipment, restrooms, shelters & grills, umbrella/cabana rentals, kayak and bicycle rentals Other notes: There are no boat/jet ski launch facilities in this park. A lifeguard is on duty 9 a.m. ¿ 5 p.m. daily on a seasonal basis from March to September. If you have a valid Disabled Parking Permit/Tag, you are not required to pay the daily or annual fee.
