Diego Maradona

In a quarterfinal match of the 1986 World Cup against England, the Argentina star scored the game's opening goal with his left fist, a no-no in soccer. After the game, Maradona famously said in Spanish that the goal was scored "a little with the head of Maradona and a little with the hand of God". Sadly, the 'Hand of God' goal has overshadowed Maradona's second goal, scored just minutes later, that was voted FIFA's 'Goal of the Century.'
