Alabama is the likely front-runner for the services of Cyrus Kouandjio, one of the top offensive lineman in the country, but he narrowed his choices to five on Tuesday, according to ESPN, and the Miami Hurricanes appear to still be in the hunt.
Kouandjio, a 6-foot-7, 322-pound athletic tackle who runs a 5-second 40-yard dash, has Alabama, Iowa, USC, Miami and New Mexico as his finalists. His older brother already plays for the Crimson Tide. Arie Kouandjio (6-5, 335), also of Dematha Catholic School in Hyattsville, Md., is a starting tackle.
He has yet to take any official visits, but those five schools are the likely destinations.
