But that doesn't change Green's excitement with each and every one.
Mississippi offers came Monday for both Green and Hamilton and the 6-foot-4, 260-pound Green was elated, as usual.
"It's still new people pop up almost every week," Green said of the offers. "People I get no mail from and who I don't know is even interested in me, so we'll see after the spring how things will turn out.
"We'll just wait and see what else comes. I like being surprised and Ole Miss was a big surprise, so hopefully I can get more surprises in the spring and bring more attention to my teammates, too."
Green still finds it a little hard to believe he has so many offers so early. He has 13 offers so far, from Cincinnati, FAU, Illinois, Iowa State, Louisville, Memphis, Minnesota, Mississippi, Purdue, Rutgers, UCF, USF and Wake Forest.
"I was happy with my first offer (Rutgers), to tell you the truth so to have many offers is a blessing," Green said. "I just want to go to school and play football
Hamilton has also piled up the offers. So far he has nine from Illinois, Louisville, Memphis, Michigan State, Mississippi, Purdue, Rutgers, Texas Tech and USF.
"It's showing me that my hard work on the field is paying off," Hamilton said. "I want to go to a school that's going to make me a better person on and off the field. Just in case I don't succeed in football, I can succeed in something else ... I'll have a backup plan."
Hamilton said he plans to get his senior season completed before making his college decision.
"I want to worry about the season first," he said. "Then I can concentrate on my decision."
Niether player knew a lot of the Ole Miss program, but Hamilton knew one important thing: I know is their defense is good. I like the way their defense plays. I watched them when they beat Florida two year ago and I was very impressed."
