Orange County sheriff’s deputies say a critically injured man, apparently shot near the Diamond Club on North Semoran Boulevard early this morning, drove himself to the hospital.
Investigators provided few other details.
No victims or suspects were at the scene of the adult entertainment club in the 500 block of North Semoran Boulevard when deputies arrived about 2:10 a.m. in response to a call about shots fired. But deputies noted “indications of a shooting were located on scene ...”
A possible victim, 30, drove to the hospital about 2½ miles away with a gunshot wound, watch commander Lt. Ken Taylor said in a news release.
The man was taken into surgery in critical condition before deputies could speak with him.
