What do you get when you're given a rare opportunity to plop down a remote-operated camera just inches from an endangered Florida panther? Thanks to the kind assistance of the expert animal handlers at Gatorland, Fla., some very unique footage of the majestic animals up-close in their new habitat at the Kissimmee wildlife park.

With Gatorland officially opening its Panther Springs exhibit this week, Team Florida360 was given an exclusive preview of the attraction, Wednesday. Two young  Florida panthers --7-year-old sibling animals Neiko and Lucy-- were acclimating to the new habitat, hardly noticing they were being photographed.

The dramatic footage of Lucy, positioned just inches from the camera, was produced by shooting with a Wifi-enabled, remote GoPro Hero 3 action cam, operated by an iPhone app.
