The UCF football team will play eight games on national television and will have one additional game broadcast on ESPN3.com, Conference USA announced Thursday. The team’s remaining three games will be broadcast on Comcast’s regional CSS network.
UCF’s home opener against FIU Sept. 15 will be broadcast on CSS, while the Knights’ game against Missouri Sept. 29 will be broadcast on Fox Sports Networks. The kickoff times for both games have not been announced.
The Knights' home games against East Carolina Oct. 4 and Southern Miss Oct. 13 will start at 8 p.m. and will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
UCF's game at Memphis Oct 20 will be broadcast on CSS, with the game time still to be announced.
The Knights' game at Marshall, which could be the final showdown in the rivalry series, is set for 8 p.m. Oct. 27 and will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
Both TV coverage and kickoff time are listed as to be announced for UCF’s game Nov. 10 at UTEP, while the Knights’ game at Tulsa Nov. 17 is slated to be on Fox Sports Networks but the kickoff time also is to be announced.
UCF’s regular season finale against UAB Nov. 24 is scheduled to be broadcast on Fox Sports Networks, but no kickoff time has been announced.
ESPN previously announced UCF’s game at Akron is set for 7 p.m. Aug. 30 and will be broadcast on ESPN3.com and the Knights’ game at Ohio State is set for noon Sept. 8 and will be broadcast on ESPN2.Copyright © 2014, Los Angeles Times
