Universal Orlando has released its lineup for Mardi Gras concerts, which begin Feb. 11 with the B-52s, and include a variety of acts ranging from the legendary Diana Ross to teen TV sensations Big Time Rush to rapper B.o.B to the ever-present KC & the Sunshine Band.. As previously announced, Kelly Clarkson will appear on Feb. 18, the second weekend of the theme park's annual celebration.

Universal Orlando continues to put New Orleans flair in its Mardi Gras events, including the use of Louisiana bands performing in the park's French Quarter area. Participating artists will include the Daddy Mack Blues Band, Lil Malcolm and the House Rockers, John Lisi & Delta Funk, Beth McKee & the Sliders, Gravy, Lil' Brian & the Zydeco Travelers, J.J. Caillier & the Zydeco Knockouts, Soul Project, Rockin' Jack and Big Al & the Heavyweghts.
Floats for Universal's Mardi Gras parades, built by Blaine Kern Artists, will be themed this year to the Earth's ecosystems, featuring bayous, swamps, rainforessts, coral reefs, the sea and polar regions.
The parades and concerts are included in regular admission to Universal Studios. Universal is offering discounts to Florida residents on annual passes activated by April 15 and also has an "after 5 p.m." ticket on Mardi Gras nights. It's $59.99 if purchased in advance, $74.99 if purchased at the front gate. (A one-day, one-park pass at Universal normally sells for $85 general, $79 ages 3-9.)
