With rocker Alice Cooper and magicians Penn & Teller on board, Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios has amped up its star power in its haunted houses this year. Could this be a trend for future HHNs? Here's a list of seven celebrity-driven mazes we'd like to see. (Yes, it's WAY tongue-in-cheek and should not be interpreted as knowledge of what will happen in coming days and months.)
"Ann Curry's Revenge." NBC reporter travels the world, collecting torture devices, finally settling on the fourth hour of "Today."
"Carly Rae Jepsen's Earworms." Set in a mental institution where residents can't get "Call Me Maybe" out of their heads. Viral videos lead to endless, wooden flash mobs.
"Browbeating: Larry Hagman's Looking at You!" Maze follows iconic actor's journey through Cocoa Beach and Dallas. Guests must escape his stylin' eyebrows. In 3-D.
"Oprah Winfrey Presents: Retirement." The restless former talk-show host goes stir crazy while on a camping trip with gal pal Gayle King. A spree of couch-jumping and ambush makeovers ensues. She runs amok, with Chicago as a backdrop, screaming "You don't get a car!" to passers-by. Steadman leads guests to safety.
"All the Dwight Moves." Former Orlando Magic star's haunted house relocated to Universal Studios Hollywood.
"Full of Grace." Scare actors dressed as HLN talking head Nancy Grace threaten costume malfunction until guests agree to scream the magic words: "TOT MOM!"
"She Sells Seacrest by the Seashore." Ryan Seacrest is everywhere else anyway. In this house, guests are shrunk down to Seacrest size and told one by one in ominous, time-consuming fashion, who is safe. Those who remain must listen to him update the list of which Olympians are tweeting.
