Amp A Theatre

In the nearly 20 years since Sleep Train Amphitheatre’s inception (the venue formerly known as Coors Amphitheatre and Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre opened in 1998), the Live Nation-owned-and-operated outdoor arena with a seating capacity of 20,000 has hosted some of the biggest names in music. In recent years, the likes of KISS (2012), One Direction (2013), Blake Shelton (2014) and Nicki Minaj (2015) have graced the Chula Vista stage.

From Slipknot to Dixie Chicks, Snoop Dogg to Journey, Jason Aldean to Demi Lovato and a few dozen more big-name acts in between, Sleep Train’s 2016 schedule promises to keep the rock (among other genres) rolling.
