Coachella 2017 lineup includes Beyoncé, Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar

Share

Beyoncé, Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar will headline the 2017 edition of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which will be held April 14-17 and April 21-23.

Beyoncé has never performed on her own at Coachella before, although she did sing briefly during her husband Jay Z’s headlining set at the festival in 2010 and during her sister Solange’s 2014 appearance. Her most recent San Diego concert was last May at Qualcomm Stadium.

Other Coachella 2017 acts announced Monday for the annual sonic marathon at the Empire Polo Club in Indio include Lorde, New Order, the XX, Bon Iver, Justice, Travis Scott and Father John Misty.

The lineup also includes Jamaican reggae pioneers Toots & The Maytals, Nigerian music legend King Sunny Adé and New Orleans’ Preservation Hall Jazz Band. The full lineup appears below.

The Coachella festival typically sells out in an instant, drawing 99,000 fans per day. Twenty percent of those attendees hail from San Diego County, according to Goldenvoice, the event’s promoter, which tracks ticket sales by zip code.

The attendance could grow this year. The Indio City Council last year approved an increase in the daily capacity for the festival, which could see attendance gradually increase to 125,000 per day.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday at 11 a.m. at coachella.com.

No single day tickets will be sold. Three-day general-admission passes are priced at $399 each, plus service charges. Three-day general-admission passes, including shuttle bus passes, are priced at $474, plus service charges. Camping passes are priced at $113 each.

Three-day VIP passes are priced at $899 each, plus service charges. VIP tent packages range from $2398 to $5400.
