CRSSD Festival “After Dark” parties

CRSDD Festival is coming to San Diego this weekend, overtaking the downtown Waterfront Park with major DJ acts including Chromeo, Flight Facilities, Classixx, Jamie Jones, Maceo Plex and Hot Natured, just to name a few. For a city like San Diego, that’s the perfect deep house and techno lineup to soak in under the sun with sweeping water views in sight.

The talent performing at this inaugural event has San Diego looking hot on the festival-map, welcoming out-of-towners and locals alike to revel in the smooth electronic music vibes for two days straight.

So, while both Saturday and Sunday will be filled during the days with a stellar lineup unlike anything San Diego has seen before, CRSSD Festival is extending the impact of the artists coming to town by rolling out a series of after parties at major nightclubs and even one on a boat.

Once the sun sets and the sets wrap up, head to these six official “After Dark” after parties.

James Murphy (DJ set) at Bang Bang - Friday, March 13

The LCD Soundsystem alum will kick off the weekend at Bang Bang. Murphy is renowned as both the former front man, singer-songwriter and producer of LCD Soundsystem and for co-founding the record label DFA Records. Currently, the legend is pursuing his own music-related projects. 21 and over. $20-$30

All Gone Pete Tong Boat Party - Saturday, March 14

Yes, you can dance all night long with Pete Tong and Thomas Jack on a Hornblower boat, just a stone’s throw away from the Waterfront Park. The English DJ Pete Tong hosts various programs like “Essential Mix” and “Essential Selection” on BBC Radio 1 and continues to perform at nightclubs and music festivals across the globe.

The boat leaves the dock at 12 a.m. sharp and cruises throughout San Diego Bay until 4 a.m. 21 and over. $75-$100

Damian Lazarus at Bang Bang - Saturday, March 14

The London-born, Los Angeles-based DJ Damian Lazarus will bring his groundbreaking live sets to Bang Bang on Saturday night. 21 and over. $20-$25

Trippy Turtle at Bang Bang - Sunday, March 15

Trippy Turtle takes things to the next level at Bang Bang on Sunday night. 21 and over. $15-$25

Chromeo (DJ set) at FLUXX - Sunday, March 15

Chromeo brings their electro-funk to FLUXX for some more late-night partying to give “Bonafied Lovin’”. “Come Alive” on the dancefloor with this Canadian duo. 21 and over. $15

Seth Troxler at Spin - Sunday, March 15

Seth Troxler has his award-winning house and techno sets in store for Spin Nightclub at this after-party, which rages until 4 a.m. 21 and over. $15-$25.
