Depeche Mode announces tour dates with San Diego stop

Depeche Mode has announced the North American Leg of its Global Spirit Tour, which begins Aug. 25 in Denver and concludes Oct. 27 in Edmonton, Canada.

The tour by the 37-year-old English electronic music group includes six California dates, among them an Oct. 6 show at San Diego’s Matress Firm Amphitheatre (formerly Sleep Train Amphitheatre).

Tickets for the tour go on sale March 10 at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 745-3000. A pre-sale begins March 6 for Depeche Mode fan club members, March 7 for Citi card members, American Express card holders and AT&T customers.

Tickets for the San Diego concert are priced at $43 to $157.50 each, plus service charges.
