Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull announce new fall leg of their joint concert tour

Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias are extending their joint North American concert tour with a fall leg that starts Sept. 22 in Houston and concludes Oct. 28 in Oakland.

The new leg includes an Oct. 22 show at San Diego’s Valley View Casino Center. All the newly added cities and dates appear below, along with ticket information.

The fall leg follows Iglesias and Pitbull’s 16 previously announced summer tour dates together, six of whichc are already sold out.

Cuban-American rapper Pitbull (real name: Armando Christian Perez) released his tenth album, “Climate Change,” last month. Iglesias, the son of Latin music crooner Julio Iglesias, is expected to release his 11th album later this year. He has thus far scored 27 No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Latin Songs Chart.

Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull have collaborated regularly in the past. Iglesias is featured on Pitbull’s recent single, “Messin’ Around,” which almost inexplicably samples REO Speedwagon’s 1980 hit, “Take It on the Run.”

Pitbull has previously teamed up with a slew of pop stars, including Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Usher, Shakira, Kesha and Chris Brown. He is not expected to duet any time soon with actress Lindsay Lohan, who filed an unsuccessful defamation suit against him after he rapped “I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan” in his 2011 song, “Give Me Everything” - a reference to her highly publicized arrests.

Iglesias, meanwhile, is not expected to grab any drones that hover over the stage while he performs, as he painfully did during his May, 2015, show at Tijuana’s Plaza de Toros de Playas. The injuries he sustained required him to subsequently undergo surgery on his right hand.

Tickets for the new fall tour dates by Iglesias and Pitbull go on sale April 28 at ticketmaster.com and livenation.com. Tickets for their Oct, 22 San Diego show are priced from $49 to $139.95 each, plus service charges.
