All hail Queen Bey, aka 34-year-old Beyonce? Giselle Knowles-Carter, who first rose to stardom in the late 1990s as one-third of the R&B trio Destiny’s Child and, in 2015, was No. 21 on Forbes’ list of “The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women.” The 20-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and actress known for her feel-good, empowering singles “Run the World (Girls), “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” and “Irreplaceable” (among countless other hits) travels internationally this summer while on The Formation World Tour, following the February release of her single “Formation.”
Lemonade, the sixth studio album from Jay Z’s baby mama, dropped April 23. It’s a safe bet this new release will top Billboard’s charts, as her last five solo albums have done, and that this long-awaited show at Qualcomm Stadium is one not to miss.
