It’s a busy weekend in San Diego with activities that include THE Margarita Month Grand Tasting, Tony Gwynn 5.5K run and comedy from Steve Byrne.

6.15-18 San Diego International Boat Show

Whether you’re a seriously salty sailor or just like to dream of partying like a rapper on a 100-foot yacht, then head to the bay to check out boats for sale and the latest nautical gear, gadgets and accessories that will be on display.

6.16 Beer & Sake Festival

The 15th annual Beer & Sake Festival, hosted by the Japan Society of San Diego and Tijuana, returns to North County with local craft beer, delicious sake and a unique evening to celebrate the two beverages.

6.16: The Magician

Known for doing magic tricks on stage while performing, Belgian DJ/producer Stephen Fasano pulled a gold record out of his hat when he collaborated with Years & Years on the 2014 single “Sunlight.” Fasano has remixed Lykke Li and Clean Bandit, and his latest single, “Tied Up” (feat. Julian Perretta), was released in February.

Race will course through the streets of Miramar’s abundant brewery-fueled business parks followed by a post-race after party with a free pint (for race participants) of AleSmith .394, a beer developed in collaboration with Tony Gwynn before his passing. Another EDM act from the Netherlands, sibling DJ duo Victor and Stephan Leicher have collaborated with the likes of Sander van Doorn, Justin Oh and Dash Berlin. So far in 2017, the Dutch brothers have released a pair of singles - “Geht’s Noch” and “Satellites.”
