Top performers coming to San Diego this month include Modest Mouse, Lady Antebellum, Francesca Lombardo and New Kids on the Block with Boyz II Men & Paula Abdul.

5.30: Modest Mouse

Isaac Brock continues to lead this nearly 25-year-old indie rock outfit with original drummer Jeremiah Green still in tow as well. The band last released an album, “Strangers to Ourselves,” in 2015.

6/1 - New Kids on the Block w/ Boyz II Men & Paula Abdul

Ready to party like it’s 1989? Then throw on some Reebok Pumps and get ready for this triple-bill of MTV headliners to form like Voltron wearing a neon windbreaker! But it’s not all about the past. NKOTB will be releasing a new EP two weeks after this show.

6/1: Mark Knight

Knight, the founder of U.K. label Toolroom Records, released his 14-song full-length “A Year In The Life” in 2016 on his own imprint. The Grammy-nominated British DJ/producer’s latest single, “Live Stream,” is a collaboration with Green Velvet & René Amesz, was released in April.

6/2 - Little Hurricane

San Diego’s best rock and blues duo released their third album of original music, “Same Sun Same Moon,” in April. It is the pair’s first since 2014’s “Gold Fever.”

6/2: Jay Hardway

The 26-year-old Dutch DJ born Jobke Heiblom broke through when he collaborated with fellow countryman Martin Garrix on the 2013 single “Wizard.” The two joined forces again last year on the single “Spotless.” Hardway’s latest, “Scio,” was released in March.

6/2: Terravita

L.A. DJ duo Jon Spero and Chris Barlow recently hooked up with fellow Angeleno spinner BARE on the EP “War Party.” Released in April on Israeli DJ Borgore’s Buygore imprint, the 4-track collaboration also features singer Timo Dee.

6/3 - Lewis Del Mar

Before New York pop-rockers Danny Miller and Max Harwood got picked up by Columbia Records, their debut single, “Loud(y),” hit the top spot on Hype Machine. The duo’s self-titled full-length debut was released last October.

6/4 - Lady Antebellum

It’s been a long journey for Michael Franti, from the political rap of Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy to the universalistic sing-alongs of his work with Spearhead in recent years. But Franti’s message continues to evolve, and he’ll be doling out the positivity in heaps over this two-day stand.
