The HCC Actors Guild will perform "The Pillowman" Feb. 22 and 23 and March 1 and 2 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 24 and March 3 at 3 p.m. at Harford Community College, Joppa Hall, Black Box Theatre.
This dark comedy by Irish playwright Martin McDonagh tells the tale of Katurian, a fiction writer living in a police state who is interrogated about the gruesome content of his short stories and their similarities to a number of bizarre child murders occurring in his town. The play received two Tony Awards and the 2004 Olivier Award for Best New Play. The show contains mature themes.
"The Pillowman" is produced through special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc.
