New crane observatory at Patuxent Wildlife Research Center

Visitors exit the new whooping crane observatory on a tour during the Patuxent Wildlife Research Center’s 75th anniversary celebration Oct. 15. The observatory will allow the public to see the endangered cranes throughout the year.
