It is time for the Reisterstown-Owings Mills-Glyndon Chamber of Commerce's annual Charter Night. In honor of incoming President Brian Deleonardo, whom I understand is a huge fan of Baltimore sports, this year's theme for the event is "Get in the Game."
Join chamber members on Thursday, Feb. 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the

The chamber has a new logo, furnished courtesy of Bonnie Heneson Communications. It features a tri-color background, on which a tree has been placed. Above the three swaths of color appear the words "work, live, thrive.". The chamber also has a newly redesigned website you can access at http://www.romgchamber.com.

Boy Scout Troop 143 that meets at Trinity Lutheran Church, on Main Street, is looking forward to making a rather memorable trip. The older members, ages 14 to 18, are planning to be a part of the BSA High Adventure Trip to the Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico. There the Scouts will participate in a 12-day trek into the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, which they leave for on July 24, returning on Aug. 6.
This exciting experience comes with a price tag of more than $1500 per person and the necessity to raise funds. So, if you have any odd jobs that need doing, the Scouts are at your service. You can make your arrangements through Jen Anderson by calling her at 410-227-6303, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
