Robert Snyder III, of Towson, graduated cum laude from the University of Rochester, Rochester, N.Y., with a bachelor's degree in economics and mathematics.

Nina C. Groseclose, of Cockeysville has been named to the spring 2011 dean's list at Roger Williams University, RI.

Nick Culotta of Timonium received the John R. LeComte $1000 scholarship from Gold Medal Bakery, located in Fall River, Mass. He is a 2008 graduate of Dulaney High School, attends Towson University, where he majors in history and minors in political science.

Michele Mary Myers of Towson, was named to the dean's list for the spring 2011 semester at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. Myers is enrolled in the university's John M. Olin School of Business.

The following local students will enter Washington College in Chestertown as freshmen this fall:

Alexander Wilson, of Cockeysville; Julia Armstrong, Connor Curro and Kendall Rich, all of Lutherville; and James Ray and Alexander Lucas, of Timonium.

Tony Catalfamo, son of Alison Owens of Towson, was named to the president's list at Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, Va., for the fourth quarter of the 2010-11 school year. Catalfamo is a freshman at the Academy.

The following local students graduated with the Class of 2011 at Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, Va.:

Gisele Bogoto, of Cockeysville, was awarded a degree in peace building and development.

Samfee Doe, of Cockeysville, was the recipient of both a biology degree and a psychology degree.

Samatha Stickevers, of Cockeysville, a student at Gettysburg College, Pa., was placed on the dean's honor list for outstanding academic achievement in the spring 2011 semester.

Villanova University announced that the following local students were named to the school's dean's list for spring 2011: Tyler Holub, of Cockeysville; Jonathon Paterakis, of Ruxton; and Alexander Evans, of Towson.

Kelly Martinet, a member of the Class of 2013 at Skidmore College, earned honors for the spring semester at the school, located in Sarasota Springs, N.Y. She is the daughter of Scott and Lori Martinet of Timonium.
