Turkey feeding

Turkeys peck from a barrel of corn in Antrim County provided by the Traverse Bay chapter of the Michigan Wild Turkey Hunters Association. The feeders are often placed in trailers to discourage deer from eating the corn. If the flock of turkeys wasn't fed in Northern Michigan during our usually harsh winters, they wouldn't survive, said Linda Gallagher, a member of the chapter.
