San Diego police are seeking the public’s help in identifying an alleged burglary series suspect who stole from Rancho Bernardo and Poway homes.

The man, who wore construction worker attire as a disguise during all 10 North County burglaries, is suspected of breaking into homes in Rancho Bernardo, Poway and Mira Mesa, according to authorities. The crimes occurred between January and May of this year.

According to a San Diego County Crime Stoppers press release on Thursday, “The suspect entered the residences by breaking the rear sliding glass doors. He then proceeded straight into the master bedrooms where he stole jewelry, cash and high end purses.”

Authorities said that during one of the burglaries the suspect stole 30 federal savings bonds, which he cashed at local banks in Oceanside and Vista. Pictures of him were taken by surveillance cameras while cashing the stolen savings bonds.

He is also suspected of identity theft.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest in the case. Tips may be left anonymously at 888-580-8477. To send an anonymous email or mobile app tip, see details at sdcrimestoppers.org.
