Ramonans attend Anderson’s holiday open house
Ramona residents were among the estimated 4,000 people who attended District 38 Sen. Joel Anderson’s 9th Annual Holiday Legislative Open House in El Cajon.
The Dec. 7 free event provided the public an opportunity to share their ideas for new legislation with Anderson and his staff and to submit ideas to improve state government. Anderson said that 40 to 60 percent of the bills he introduces in the state Legislature come from his constituents.
Businesses, organizations and individuals donated hors d’oeuvres and refreshments for the event. Ramona Unified School District trustees Bob Stoody and Rodger Dohm were among open house co-hosts.
Ramona is among communities in California’s 38th District that Anderson, a Republican, represents. His El Cajon office at 500 Fesler St., Suite 201, may be contacted at 619-596-3136.
