13. 'Holy Motors'

An absolutely terrible recommendation for someone who likes their movies nice and easy, Leos Carax's "Holy Motors" sends its central character (Denis Lavant) from one performance to the next, changing identities from a motion-capture actor to a goblin who lives in the sewer (and kidnaps Eva Mendes' character and licks her armpit, BTW). Strange and provocative.

Click here for our full review
