Signaling a sudden obsession with the original white meat, a trio of chefs are set to open chicken-centric restaurants this year, including the folks behind underground supper club Sunday Dinner. That project, Honey Butter Fried Chicken (3361 N. Elston St.), will introduce Avondale to a menu of crispy chicken slathered in a signature honey butter, plus seasonal sides, desserts, wine, beer and cocktails. Nellcote chef Jared Van Camp also has announced a chicken sandwich shop called Leghorn, and Girl & The Goat's Stephanie Izard has poultry plans as well, though neither has announced an opening date or location.
