( January 10, 2013 ) Mexican Billy Dec and the Rockit Ranch crew expand their nightlife empire in River North with Ay Chiwowa, a taqueria and tavern in the former Martini Ranch (pictured) space (311 W. Chicago Ave.) set to open this winter Thursday through Sunday only with plans to be open daily by summer. Modern tacos and soups will arrive in Wicker Park courtesy of Takito Kitchen (2013 W. Division St.), with a cocktail program in the works to follow its March opening. In the South Loop, look for Chica Loca (1010 S. Delano Court), a 200-seat Mexican restaurant, to fire up its stoves this summer to satisfy hungry diners before they catch a movie at nearby Showplace Icon Theatre, |
