Kid Icarus: Uprising

Nintendo 3DS 2.5 stars out of 4 If your memory of "Kid Icarus" is a bit fuzzy, it's probably because the series hasn't seen a major release in more than 20 years. Nintendo's finally dusted off its forgotten hero Pit, who resembles Cupid in a toga, for a new 3DS title stuffed with an incredible amount of things to do--soaring air combat, ground-based battles, versus multiplayer, weapon customization and more. The result is a game that does justice to the classic, even if getting the hang of the stylus-based controls can be a tougher fight than any of the Medusa boss characters.
