What are your go-to bars/restaurants?

Wisconsin's all about 3 things: beers, brats and the Badgers, and Will's Northwoods Inn delivers like the Union terrace. Not only is this watering hole a pure Sconnie paradise, but THE place to find all things UW.

What should you order?

Miller Lite and a few beer brats are all you need. Surrounded by red-and-white decor, deep oak and wall-to-wall paraphanilia, you'll feel like you're back on State Street in Madison, surrounded by Chicago's finest—aka fellow Badgers.

What landmarks remind you of campus?

It can't be overstated how much Will's Northwoods brings a sliver of State Street (both the avenue and the brats-themed restaurant) to Chicago. Of course, Lake Michigan's glistening shores can't help but remind visitors of Lakes Mendota and Monona.

How would you spend your downtime?

Redmond's Ale House, Lotties and Waterhouse Tavern & Grill will transport you back to UW—and the glory years of Rose Bowl wins and Final Fours.
