"Downton Abbey" star Michelle Dockery trades her evening gowns for bell-bottoms in "Restless" (8 p.m. CT Friday and Dec. 14, Sundance Channel; 3 stars out of 4), William Boyd's story of an English woman who learns that her mother is a complete stranger to her. The two-part miniseries written by Boyd from his 2006 novel jumps back and forth between 1939, when young Eva Delectorskaya (Hayley Atwell) begins her World War II espionage career under the tutelage of British spymaster Lucas Romer (Rufus Sewell), and 1976, when Sally Gilmartin (Charlotte Rampling), believing that her spy days have returned to haunt her, confesses her real name and past to her daughter, Ruth (Dockery). All three women are fantastic in this suspenseful story of love, betrayal and paranoia that should keep you guessing to the end. Come awards time, Atwell and Rampling could be competing against each other for playing the same woman. Curt Wagner, RedEye's Show Patrol Want more?
