Matt Ryd is a singer/songwriter/producer/geek/all-around-nice-guy who has been working his way up the music scene. Since he started pursuing music just four years ago, he's released 4 albums, had songs placed on various TV shows (including "Scrubs", MTV's "Made", and Oxygen's "Braxton Family Values"), toured across the entire country, and made a ton of friends while doing so. He keeps his "frands" (portmanteau of "friend" and "fan" because he still feels weird saying he has fans) entertained with geeky blog/Twitter posts about Star Trek, and the occasional 8-Bit or Casiocore remix of a song. A year ago, he launched a production company, RydMedia, Inc., and alternates his time between releasing his own music, and producing records for both local and national artists. You can check out his music at http://mattryd.com/ and look up RydMedia at http://rydmedia.com/. His favorite "Star Wars" is "Empire Strikes Back", favorite Star Trek series is "The Next Generation" (although he thinks "Deep Space 9" had a better storyline and character development), and favorite Doctor is David Tennant. "Alons-y!"
