"It's a Brad, Brad World" out there, ladies, and you too can be groovin' with the energetic star of Bravo's newest fashion reality show. Here are the spring-summer must-haves from Brad Goreski, who is also the author, with Mickey Rapkin, of the upcoming book, "Born to Be Brad: My Life and Style, So Far" (It Books, $24.99). Plus, tips on how to pull it off in Brad fashion from the Brad himself.
Tortoise sunglasses: Look for exaggerated shapes, smokier lens; take time to try the glasses on, there's no foolproof shape for everyone. "This season, the color is a little pop-ier, the yellow is more yellow, the brown more of a chocolate brown." Alain Mikli, or Karen Walker Super Duper Strength in tortoise at karenwalkereyewear.com.
Pencil skirts: "An extremely versatile item. Wear it with a gray blouse and blazer for a Dolce & Gabbana Italian lady feel or take it downtown and wear with boots and a cool leather jacket." Black is always a starting point but explore options: bright colors, lace, even stretch skirts filmed with a layer of chiffon.
Denim shirt: "I'm Canadian,'' Goreski explains. "Denim on denim is the Canadian tuxedo. It's in my blood, I wear it proudly." OK. Should you? "It can be a really, really, sexy look," he says. Button it low to show off a lace bra or give it a 1970s Farrah Fawcett feel with a great pair of heels. "You don't want to look like you're going to a hoedown," he warns.
Levi's or Ralph Lauren's denim shirts.
Tassel loafer: "There's two ways with it. Schoolgirl or more of a Parisian vibe. To me, it's the new ballet flat." Goreski likes it with denim shorts and tucked-in shirts, or try a leather jacket, tee and trousers.
Studs: "Lots of women want to find a way to edge up their look and make it more rock and roll." Jewelry, like a bold cuff, is an easy way get that vibe.

Animal prints: "A fun way to add sex to your wardrobe." Look for animal prints on jeans, bathing suits, lingerie.

Pastels: The "candy-coated feeling" of pastels in this season's more feminine clothes is, for Goreski, a "logical progression" from the vibrant, bold colors of past seasons.

Prints: "I gravitate toward floral and graphic prints," Goreski says. Explore the range. Jason Wu for Target print dresses — he's "taken the uptown lady and made her more downtown" — are "a perfect way" to begin integrating prints into your wardrobe.
