Stedman, N.C., 2000

This multiple-exposure sequence shows the progress of a partial solar eclipse on Christmas Day in 2000 as seen through strands of Christmas lights in Stedman, N.C. Exposures were made every 3 1/2 minutes. A Christmas Day solar eclipse won't be repeated for more than 300 years.
