Ramona Ranch Vineyard and Winery recently received awards for its wine from the Toast of the Coast Wine Competition and Tastings.com World Wine Championships.

In the 7th Annual Toast of the Coast Wine Competition, Ramona Ranch received silver medals for its 2012 Sangiovese Reserve and 2016 Chardonnay out of 772 wines from 137 wineries. The competition was judged at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, and the Ramona Ranch wines will be among wines showcased in the 7th annual Toast of the Coast Wine Festival during the 2018 San Diego County Fair. The Chardonnay is 100 percent oak barrel fermented and aged. The Sangiovese is made in the style of Montalcino’s big Brunello and used the Brunello clone grape of Sangiovese.

Results are posted on Tastings.com website.
