Chris Stapleton, a 3-time Grammy winner Sunday, to launch ‘All American Road Show’ tour
Only hours after his three Grammy Award wins and performance Sunday night, country-rock dynamo Chris Stapleton has announced the 2018 edition of his “All American Road Show” tour.
The tour kicks off June 16 in Mississippi and concludes Nov. 3 in Virginia. It includes three Southern California dates — Aug. 16 at Chula Vista’s Mattress Firm Amphitheatre, Aug. 17 at Anaheim’s Honda Center and Aug. 18 at The Forum in Inglewood.
All tour dates, cities and ticket information appear below. Marty Stuart and Brent Cobb will be the opening acts.
Stapleton, who is featured on Justin Timberlake’s upcoming new album, won Grammy Awards Sunday for Best Country Album (“From a Room: Volume 1”), Best Country Song (“Broken Halos”) and Best Country Solo Performance (“Either Way”). He also joined Emmylou Harris on the Grammy telecast to perform Tom Petty’s “Wildflowers” during the show’s “In Memoriam” segment, one day after he was the musical guest on “Saturday Night Live.”
Tickets for Stapleton’s 2018 tour go on sale Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. local time at ticketmaster.com and livenation.com.
A pre-sale for Stapleton fan club members and Citi card holders begins Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. local time.
Ticket prices for his Chula Vista concert range from $34.75 to $150, plus service charges.
