Andy Murray, Milos Raonic advance to 3rd round at Australian Open

Scottish tennis player Andy Murray and Canadian Milos Raonic qualified on Thursday to the third round of the Australian Open.

Murray, World No. 2, easily defeated Australian Sam Groth 60, 64, 61 in less than an hour and a half, while Raonic won 76 (5), 76 (5), 75 over Spanish Tommy Robredo in a threehour game.

The Scot will face Portuguese Joao Sousa, who eliminated Colombian Santiago Giraldo with 67, 75, 36, 61.

Meanwhile, Raonic will play against Serbian Viktor Troicki, who beat U.S. Tim Smyczek on Thursday.
