Apple Inc. on Wednesday launched its new line of iPhone, a new model of iPad and an updated version of Apple TV at an event here that culminated with a performance by the One Republic musical group.

The company, which registered record sales and profits after the launching of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus last year, said that the new version of its star product is not just a simple updating of its earlier model.

“The only thing that’s changed is everything,” said the Cupertino, Californiabased company during its September event at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Auditorium to roll out its new products.

The new iPhones, dubbed the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, and which Apple CEO Tim Cook on Wednesday referred to as the most advanced smartphones in the world, incorporate more powerful rear and front cameras of 12 and 5 megapixels, respectively.

The new rear cameras will have the ability to record in ultrahigh definition or 4K and to create minivideos with each photograph taken, so that users can record the moments before and after they were snapped.

The new features also include a new function, 3D Touch, which allows users to create a new control menu by the pressure they exert on the screens, which will also be more shatterproof.

Apple said that it will keep the new telephone at the prices of the current models making them available from $199 for the iPhone 6S and from $299 for the iPhone 6S Plus with a twoyear contract.

The iPhone will be able to be purchased starting Sept. 25 in countries including the United States, France, Germany, Canada and Japan.

Meanwhile, the tech giant on Wednesday announced that the updated version of Apple TV will be available starting in November for $149 for the 32gigabyte model and $199 for the 64gigabyte model.

The firm said that the television includes a “revolutionary” remote control and responds to voice commands via Siri, the digital assistant incorporated into iPhones.

Apple also announced that it will create an App Store for its Apple TV and said that “the future of television” is in applications.

Apple also announced on Wednesday the new model of its popular iPad tablet, the iPad Pro, a device 12.9 inches wide, compared to the 9.4 inches of the iPad Air 2 that will go on sale in November starting at $799.

Cook said the product is the most capable and powerful iPad the firm has ever created, adding that the iPad is Apple’s vision of the future of computing.

The iPad was widely accepted after its debut in 2010, but sales have recently fallen off.
