Cameron Diaz marries musician Benji Madden

Cameron Diaz and musician Benji Madden were married in a private ceremony in Los Angeles, the couple’s representative told People.

“We couldn’t be happier to begin our new journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends,” the couple told the magazine.

The couple started dating in May, got engaged just before Christmas and tied the knot on Monday evening.

The 42yearold Diaz has “found true happiness” with the 35yearold Madden, a vocalist and guitarist for the band Good Charlotte, a source close to the actress told People.

The couple hosted a rehearsal dinner at their Beverly Hills home over the weekend for family and friends, People said, citing a source.
