Dodgers explode for 13-6 win over Braves

Carl Crawford hit a threerun homer and Juan Uribe added a tworun blast to power the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 136 victory over the Atlanta Braves in Game 3 of their bestoffive National League divisional series.

Matching a 57yearold franchise record for runs in a playoff game, the home team took a 21 lead in the series.

Game 4 is set for Monday in Los Angeles.

Crawford put the Dodgers ahead in the second inning, but the Braves tied the score at 44 in the top of the third, only to fall behind 64 in the bottom of the inning.

The Dodgers pulled away with four runs in the fourth inning, including Uribe’s tworun shot.

Los Angeles added three more runs in the eighth and the Braves’ Jason Heyward hit a tworun homer in the top of the ninth to complete the scoring.

Ricky Nolasco will start for the Dodgers in Monday’s game at Dodgers Stadium, while the Braves plan to go with veteran pitcher Freddy Garcia.
