The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are set to travel to Canada towards the end of the month with their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Kensington Palace announced Monday.

Prince George, 3, and Princess Charlotte, 16 months, are to spend eight days in Canada with their parents, the official residence said.

The visit is to be Prince William and his wife Kate’s first official visit to include the little princess.

Her brother George visited Australia and New Zealand in 2014 when he was 9 months old.

The royal couple traveled to India and Bhutan earlier this year, leaving the children at home in the hands of their Spanish nanny, María Teresa Turrion Borrallo, media reported.

The royals, who are to visit Canada from Sept. 24 to Oct. 1 at the invitation of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, have been taking on more official commitments to assist Britain’s aging Queen Elizabeth II, who is 90 years old.
