The new creative line from Diane von Furstenberg, the new collection from Custo Barcelona, and the elegance of Victoria Beckham’s brand on Sunday marked the day at the New York Fashion Week.

The show kicked off with the new collections by Diane von Furstenberg’s new creative director, Jonathan Saunders, which plays with mixed textures, bold colors and silhouettes, and adopts playful polka dots and romantic floral patterns.

Inspired by the ‘free spirit’ of women, Victoria Beckham, at the show with her husband and son sitting in front row, also unveiled her next season’s collection in which she showed her taste for austere and classic tones, centered in black and white, and materials of velvets and silks that give sensuality to the female body.

Custo Barcelona team also joined the show with the 2017 Spring/Summer collection under the slogan ‘Much More’, full of bright colors and inspired by the Far East.

The British designer Jenny Packham, the singer Adele, the actress Kate Winslet and the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton also attended the New York Fashion Week today.

Several big names of the industry, from Singapore’s Prabal Gurung to Diane von Furstenberg as well as Jason Wu and Michael Kors, have presented shirt designs in support of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, who was, involuntarily, the star of the day after suffering a dizzy spell at the 9/11 terror attack commemorations in New York.

Vivienne Hu wrapped up the day with a collection marked by tunic dresses and Romaninspired sandals that are tied to the knees.
