Kanye West to perform with Paul McCartney and Rihanna at Grammys

U.S. rap artist Kanye West is to return to the Grammy stage after a sixyear absence and perform with Paul McCartney and Rihanna at the 57th edition of the awards program, the Recording Academy said in a statement Tuesday.

Twentyonetime Grammy Award winner West will first give a solo performance and then will be joined by McCartney and Rihanna to sing “FourFiveSeconds”, the Barbadian singer’s new single.

Other artists who will performing at the world’s biggest music award ceremony include Lady Gaga, Madonna, AC/DC, Ariana Grande, Eric Church, Ed Sheeran, Annie Lennox, Tony Bennett, Hozier, Jessie J., Tom Jones, Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Sam Smith, Pharrell Williams, Miranda Lambert, Usher, Common and John Legend, among others.

Colombian singer Juanes will also be performing a Spanish song at the event.

Beyonce Knowles, Sam Smith and Pharrell Williams, with six nominations each, start as favorites for the awards.

Other big nominees are Eric Church, Iggy Azalea, Beck, Drake, JayZ, Gordon Goodwin, Miranda Lambert, Sia, Usher and Jack White, with four nominations each.

The awards will be held Feb. 8 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be hosted by rap artist LL Cool J.
